While riding our new less-than-one-year-old Trek Verve +3 e-bikes on the Gainesville-Hawthorne bike trail, the front wheel on my best friend's bike suddenly went way out of true. An hour away from home in Citrus County, we drove straight to David's World Cycle in Gainesville where we were welcomed and the bike immediately taken into the shop for inspection. Dropped a bike off over 2 weeks ago to get packages up. Wasn’t told there would be a massive wait for the bike to be packaged up. Then after calling to see if it was ready, was told multiple times that they were waiting for a box. I know they receive bike shipments on Wednesdays but that was almost two weeks ago. Then, after having to wait two weeks for something that was time sensitive, we were still charged $75. It would have been nice to know that it was going to take 2 weeks to box the bike up.
