I've been buying rugs and pillows from this shop for several years now. The shop moved from Marshall to The Plains a few years ago, both of which are great destinations. The shop has everything from small square rugs, long hall runners, as well as large area rugs. He also does rug cleaning, which will highlight the beauty of your rug. Although I haven't used the service, he also repairs rugs. I highly recommend you give the shop a visit.
Dustin is a rare breed, an eclectic collector with a huge selection, and he knows the history of every carpet in his shop. I would not go anywhere else to buy an Oriental carpet.
Master Craftsman hands down. Washed an encrusted Afghan back to rights in a double bath boil. Turned dust and dirt to reds and yellows of original weave. Perfect. Taking a Persian with a 2" hole for a mend and wash next month. Worth every cent!

Dustin Aliff knows his carpets-the material, the history, the care, and even how to fix antique ones! He can guide you to the perfect style and make that will fit your needs and budget and transform your home. The shop is welcoming and cozy, and Dustin and his dog Sirius are charming! We miss him in Marshall but visit his shop in The Plains for our magic carpet fix every chance we get!
