Dave did such an excellent job papering the hallway a few years that when I bought a new house this year I had no hesitation in asking him to decorate rooms in the new house. Work carried out to a very high standard by Dave and his team and always professional in their dealings with me.
If you have to wait 2-3 months to get a slot in David’s work diary it is because he is worth the wait and he is in high demand. David spent 5 days and did such a thorough job. 2 days of just prepping the whole place, moving all items and sanding everything to the right level. 3 days of painting and he did not even complain when we changed colour scheme the night before he was due. Dave Byrne redecorated my lounge. It is an old house, and the room had layers of donkey’s years old wallpaper, some of them over paint, and some sections of bad plaster. Dave worked meticulously (and for some time) to remove all traces of the old coverings and repair the plaster, finishing the walls to near perfect condition. Dave’s paperhanging skill is amazing.
