Told my mother; (with stage 4 metastatic lung cancer) that such a disease is now considered "a treatable, chronic illness, that can be managed with HIS chemotherapy. That she would not suffer from the treatment, and that none of his patients had stopped treatment as a result of ill-effects of his treatment." If I could put lower than one star, I would. My husband was in the hospital twice and he was the attending Dr. making rounds at the hospital. Never in my life have I met a more condescending, arrogant, humiliating doctor. He should not be an oncology doctor, no compassion at all.

February 19th of 2020 was the worst day of my life when I was diagnosed with lung cancer. Thanks to the powers that be, Dr. David Kahn came to my hospital room and offered me HOPE. He was upfront and honest about expectations and what had to be done. I had an appt at his office within 2 days and we proceeded forward with scans, MRI's, staging, genetic testing and chemo port placement. I was new to the cancer world when I went to Dr Kahn. He was very thorough in his explanations & made sure I understood everything before he moved further in conversation. His expertise in the science of cancer is evident & he was very clear about the fact that he wanted to make sure that I went into remission in the most effective & least obtrusive way to my body.
