Hands up to Dr. Wellman. You’ll know he really cares he would visit his patients everytime he has time. He did the surgery on my Right ankle together with Dr. Hoisington. Instructions were clear and he’s very patient on answering the questions that we have. I was sent at WMC after I fell doing bouldering. I was there for 42 days, though still recovering they needed to transfer my care as I live out of state (VA). I have been a patient of Dr Wellman for almost two years. He was recommended to me by my orthopedic surgeon in London, England where I lived for 20 years. In May 2022 I suffered a serious femur break having fallen down a flight of stairs where I was working. My first ORIF surgery left me with lots of titanium bits. Just one month after my first exam with Dr Wellman, my fixation failed and the leg broke again. I had a second ORIF surgery with a strong new pole implanted in my bones.
