I’ve been going though swelling and all of the doctors, specialists and more are saying that all they can do is therapy and compression. Done this for years and nothing’s changed. I went to a plastic surgeon about a graft and he said he couldn’t do it because of the swelling. He recommended Dr. Chang. He doesn’t even meet with you unless you are a certain weight. I had a LNT and it has been life changing! Unfortunately I was not a candidate for the LVB but the LNT alone has made a big difference. Insurance approval was a breeze, also. Definitely recommend!

Lymph node transplant (self donor) & 2 micro bypasses on arm with lymphedema post bilateral mastectomy & bilateral dissection (8 years with lymphedema). My arm, hand, fingers & left side of torso was 3 x normal size. Within the 1st year post procedure arm was 80% to normal size. I stopped wearing custom day & night compression garments for lymphedema at the 1 year out post procedure. At 2 years out 100% normal size. At 6 years out 100% normal size. Positive life changing experience.

I traveled over 700 miles for a procedure LVB. It's been a month and so far the results have been better than I ever thought possible. Dr. Chang and his staff were absolutely professional and accommodating.

For God’s sake don’t do it ! He doesn’t care! I have lived with the results of his surgery, and if the University of Chicago really cared they would not promote him! My life was bad post cancer surgery, but I didn’t know how bad it could get till I let him cut me!!!!
