Excellent, professional, very well educated, friendly, and caring bedside manners are nothing short of the best way to describe him.
I had a bone spur punching my spinal cord everyone else thought it was my lower spine thank god for DR Jean if he had not looked at everything I would be a Quadriplegic from that. He I feel has a great bedside manner and explained everything.
OMG...why did I wait so long and suffer for such a long time? Dr. Uhden did my surgery about 3 years ago, and I have been virtually pain-free since then. He is the ultimate professional, has a great bedside manner (he is open and honest with you about what can be expected), and has a good sense of humor that immediately puts you at ease. I would highly recommend Dr. Udehn. He is very patient, and took time to listen intently about my situation. He was very thorough with my examination and reviewing my reports. He also answered many questions that I had. He is very knowledgeable in his field and respect him for not rushing into surgery with me when it could pose more problems then rewards. I also liked the fact that he made suggestions that would alleviate my pain. His staff are very kind, helpful and efficient.
My son & I were in a horrible car accident. W/o doing any test he comes in the room and tells me that my son's head had been disconnected from his spinal cord. And that he was brain dead. His hands were still moving so I questioned it he said it was just nerves. Thankfully the ER Dr. ordered a CT & it showed that everything was in fact still intact. He let my son lay there for 4 hours while we were saying our goodbyes. He told me my son wasn't worth fight for. He passed days later. He was 4.
Dr. Udehn has given me my life back!!!! I was injured in a car accident & had a herniated disc with leg & back problems. I'm one day postoperative and feel EXCELLENT! If you're looking for a great neurosurgeon he's your guy. Thank you Dr. Udehn ?
