Dr. Thomason is an expert at epidurals. I trust him completely. I am leaving one star off: the office is impossible to contact for a simple request for the MRI that never was received by Infirmary Central Scheduling. The portal is impossible to use. I have left vm's and no one calls me!
Dr. Thomason is a great Doctor. However his staff is lacking! I have been trying to get an epidural for 3 months now! I was supposed to be able to schedule an appointment with him and get that done. I was referred to his PA instead. She ordered an MRI. That was 3 weeks ago! I can't even get anyone on the phone to find out about the MRI! Evidently patient quality of life doesn't matter. You're left unknowing and in pain.
I have been having bad pain and stiffness in my hands and Thumb areas down to my wrist due to Arthritis. I have had shots in my thumbs about 7 years ago The pain then was never like it's been now. I have not been able to open a water bottle or can of cat food, Even holding a Pen to write Very difficult. The pain would wake me up at night. Dr Thomason is a very nice, caring Doctor He was able to give me shots in both of my Thumbs with a device that is like an ultra sound. Outstanding customer service at the front desk. Outstanding nursing staff in the procedure rooms. Of course Dr. Thomason very courteous & performs the procedure right the first time eliminating the pain. Thanks to all.
