Drs have always provided care for all my pugs aleays treated as needed and always call to follow up after visits.
I brought my 8 year old American Bully mix in for a second opinion on a growth on his knee. The previous vet claimed it was only a skin tag and that diagnoses just wasn't sitting right with me. A few days before his appointment, I noticed a growth on his tongue as well. Dr. Ripke took my concerns seriously, and had him in for surgery within two weeks. We brought my dog in yesterday for a physical and her vaccines. She has arthritis too and was prescribed meds. All was good. The doctor was great with her, she took her time to talk to us it was great. We thought we finally found a local vet that we would continue to see and not have to drive to our usual vet in Denver. I got a call today saying I was undercharged for meds. Which is fine. I got online to see how much it should have been for a 30 day support just to see that Horizon charges $42 for 60 pills $38 with auto ship... read more
