My experience was unfortunate, as we couldn’t get past the office manager. We were required to schedule 8 sessions right off the bat. I have no issue with committing to 8 sessions, but the minute I said I wasn’t sure about months out the manager said it just wasn’t going to work. I even said zoom for future calls would work since we are only in town for a month, but still no. While I get and fully understand they know their protocol. And that they also have a business to run. As a kid I had a few different psuchiatrists. I trusted none of them. Dr.busch was the only exception. He didn't pry, he didnt ask too much or too little, he wasn't overbearing or nosy, he didnt guide the conversation or topics in general. He simply gave you the room to breathe and space to speak freely, and acceptance is everything to troubled children. Youve got to be on thier level in every way to see things as they do.
