I was referred by my primary after experiencing some joint pain and swelling last May that was moving from joint to joint. Shoemaker sent me for testing and found no RA. A year later another episode but because I have another autoimmune disease and I’m off my meds he says that is why I have flared again.. I requested updated blood work since I’m off Meds and 2 family members have been diagnosed and he refused. Everyone was nice. Dr. Shoemaker is an excellent and very caring doctor. He is extremely knowledgeable about RA and has been attentive to any questions about medications or reactions.
Dr. Shoemaker makes me feel like he cares about the outcome of my health concerns. He is very thorough and certainly has great bedside manner. Thanks Doc!
