For 25+ years, Dr. Shipowick has been my doctor and a wonderful one to go to. I have never felt embarrassed or misunderstood about my long term issues that I suffer from (due to a severe illness I suffered from when younger). Dr. Shipowick has always worked WITH me, has understood, and has emphasized with my long-term needs. He's one-of-a-kind, and my family and I are so grateful to know him. We so appreciate his time and the knowledge given to us all of these years. He is truly a blessing.
I suffer from Post Concussion Syndrome. I went to Shipowick for help. He asks me, "How long have you suffered from PCS?" My response, "3 1/2 years." To which he replied, "Maybe you need to understand that your symptoms will be permanent." Just WOW. If this dude doesn't want to doctor anymore, maybe he should retire. Just sayin'.
Nice, down to earth guy. When he asks, "How can I help you today?" He really means it.
