Dr. Saperstein was initially a very helpful physician. He was able to diagnose my condition and begin treatment, and I was fortunate to complete the necessary testing while he was still accepting insurance. However, after he stopped accepting insurance, I was no longer able to continue care with him, which created a significant gap in my treatment. Dr. Saperstein is a wonderful doctor and human being. He is the expert you need if you are running in circles with local medical. He refuses to be held hostage by the games of the insurance companies because he truly wants to DOCTOR people. Imagine that! I appreciate his willingness to do things his way. If you aren't getting the help you need anywhere else blame the medical set up in this country and then go see someone willing to be the change and do things right.

This doctor is one of the few in the valley that can diagnose EDS, POTS, and MCAS. Unfortunately, he does not accept insurance, charges thousands of dollars out of pocket, and even suggests patients take out small loans to afford an appointment. For people who are already chronically ill and burdened financially because of medical costs, this feels incredibly predatory.
