Great doctor and works with Marian Hospital, which is nice. It’s a very good hospital. Doctor is knowledgeable And made me feel very comfortable. The only reason I give 4 stars is Due to being open only Tuesday and Wednesday to be seen, it is hard to get an emergency appointment in. They are booking out a month or two. The Answering service is horrible called at 5 AM and back at seven and the doctor never called me Which wasn’t appreciated. Dr Cloutier did a fantastic job on my gallbladder removal surgery! I’m two weeks post-op and everything is healing really well and I feel 1000x better now. He was very professional yet kind, and was able to quickly get me scheduled for the surgery.
I had a surgery on September 23 and there was no follow up unless I scheduled it, unless I called for test results etc I am still experiencing pain from this surgery. When I sent a note letting the surgeon know that I am still having pain after 3 follow up visits and almost nine months I was given no advice, no follow up. Also expect to wait on hold for an hour to make a follow up visit appointment. Absolute perfection! A very personable and thorough surgeon. He spent the time to carefully explain the process and glad to say it was pain free. No scarring. His bedside manner is above and beyond. A true gentleman! His reputation that he's in the top 5 highly skilled surgeons of Rhode Island is well deserved. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
