Went to see Romeo for chronic stomach pain that I have been on medication for for years but had stopped working. He said let's do a scope and see what's going on. I have the scope, and immediately afterwards he says he didn't see anything. I go home and wait for office to call with treatment regime recommendations. NO call, So after a week I call the office. I asked the above. The assistant tells me he said to follow up in two months. I asked again, what are his recommendations for my pain?? She literally tells me he said to... read more

DR Romeo is an outstanding physician . Listens, educates, and extremely sensitive to the human condition. I am lucky to have him as my doctor or so .these past 5 years.

I was nervous after reading some of the experiences on here. My experience was as perfect as you can get. Prep was hard however staff and Dr. Romeo were excellent. I appreciate it. I was nervous but Dr. was excellent. Thank you for making a nervous mom not have a bad experience. Sincerely!

Business response:

My first visit was not so great. He was pompous and arrogant. I was in the process of moving out of state and dealing with a new disease ravaging my colon. He was rather uncaring and left me out to dry so to speak. I would look further if In need of a gastrointestinal Doctor.

I came in because I was having bad pain every time I ate and it lasted for about 12 hours. I barely saw the Dr. Maybe he had a full schedule and had tried to fit me in. He put me on an anti-spasmatic thinking maybe it was IBS. That helped the symptoms some but sure didn't address the issue. Eventually I became jaundice, so went into emergency and found I had a gall stone in my common bile duct. By then my body was very worn down and the surgery led to complications. I sure wish it has been found and addressed earlier. I real... read more

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Romeo. He's top notch. I've been to the Cleaveland Clinic, and Dr. Romeo is better than these, supposed, world renowned experts" that are the same specialist he is. A true great person and Dr.!

Business response:

Thank you so much for your kind review! We very much appreciate the feedback. We're so glad he is able to help you!

Dr. Romeo has been my Gastroenterology Specialist for almost 20 years and even though I have moved an hour away I would not consider going to a new doctor. He is very straight forward with what he feels I should do about my situation, he also wants my opinion and will consider my choices. He recommended I start Remicade several years ago but respected my decision to wait, I have not started this medication and I am doing very well.
