Dr Privitara is one of the best medical professionals I have ever received treatment from. A consummate surgeon, the shoulder replacement he performed was a relief beyond my hopes or expectations. His communication is excellent; explaining issues thoroughly and understandably, and his overall "bedside manner" is friendly, funny, and deeply caring. I feel so grateful he practices in my area. He came highly recommended, and I'm happy to pass that recommendation along.

My husband suffered an injury at the gym that caused him to tear his pectoral muscle off his shoulder. He then proceeded to go to work for over two months instead of to the Dr. Turns out, time is of the essence with this injury. When we finally made it to the Dr. we were told most surgeons won’t touch it more than 4 weeks post injury. We were also told the recovery and reattachment of his own muscle would be next to impossible and that we’d likely have no options other than donor tissue. I had surgery on my shoulder.he did such a great job. don't have any more issues with it. thank you for fixing my shoulder.
