Dr. McCarthy is a terrific physician. HOWEVER, you will be lucky if you can get an appointment to see him. I felt very blessed to have my elderly father seen by him. He really is so passionate about his work. Listens, helps and is incredibly thorough but my father has been incredibly sick for a while and we can't get an appointment with him. I was assigned Dave as the PCP to perform my repeatedly neglected annual physical. The care he provided was the upmost comprehensive and was truly exceptional. During the visit, it was clear that he cared for me and would not allow me to leave with any remaining questions. He has completely raised the bar for what high-quality care looks like.
Dr McCarthy is fantastic. I have a technical background and am very critical and even on that backdrop I find his medicine top notch. What’s more is his bedside manner is beyond reproach. It’s very important to me to be able to communicate with my doctor. He spent about an hour with me during my last appointment and never once made me feel rushed.
