Mr Joel Martin was extremely pushy and rude! And coming from a Martin he makes us all look bad! Started out with no due diligence pay then that went to $3000. We told him we weren’t comfortable with that and we do $1000 he agreed so we followed through with inspections I take off work. Tell them we’re happy with the house we’d like to move forward next thing you know he’s telling us they want even more money for the due diligence pay. Screwed me out of my home and $3200 due to a low valuation. Ther comparables werent even in the same are as where i was attempting to purchase my home.

Under no circumstance should this company be used for appraisals. There are 20 homes in our private community. My home has an elevator, screened back porch , detached , and a generator-features that over 90% of the homes in our community DO NOT have-with an average estimated valuation of 800K for all homes in the community. Our appraisal was less than 700K. I think this warrants an investigation.
