Dr Kalainov indicated there was nothing to be done for the nodule and cord in my left hand caused by Dupuytrens Disease until my finger contracts. As pain in my palm increased with gripping golf clubs, bike grips, etc. his office suggested behavior modification. This surgeon was just awesome. His experience level came through in his easy bedside manner. He performed what I considered to be tricky hand surgery on my thumb knuckle. It involved moving tendons, etc. I was overwhelmed the day of the surgery not realizing it was taking place in an actual OR rather than his office. He kept things light and moving right along. He has a cool sense of humor and I really appreciated all of his staff too. He is very good at his profession. I highly recommend.

I had no idea what kind of wrist pain I was experiencing prior to my visit, and wasn't sure if I could ever find relief. Thankfully, Dr. Kalainov was extremely knowledgable and was able to quickly aleviate my pain. He was also extremely thorough--I could tell he read my file before he walked in the room (he remembered my health history and profession, which I do not always experience with specialty professionals). Overall, a gret experience!
