He put tubes in my daughter's ears in late 2023. Not great bedside manners but he did the job. At that time we thought all was good but to later be told by Dr. Lough that she had a perforation of the ear drum. He wasn't concerned about it until she was at least 8 to 10 yrs. old she us currently 4. He then rushed us out of the exam room and said see you in 6 to 12 months. We looked into it more and now realize that HE CAUSED THE PERFORATION OF THE EAR DRUM BY CUTTING THE HOLE FOR THE TUBE TO LARGE. ALSO IT CAN CAUSE HEARING L... read more
Dr. Lough has performed surgery on my son twice over the last 6 years. He is straightforward, communicative, efficient, knowledgeable, and great at his job — all of the qualities I value in a doctor. If you have a strong preference for MDs who are super personable with impeccable bedside manner, he may not be the best fit.
I have had 2 sons go to this office before WVU took over and they were great so when my son had to go to an EN&T I chose to go back. BIG MISTAKE! Was told he was going to see one dr but that Dr was not there so he seen someone else who was dismissive and tried to talk down to us. The place was dirty, bathrooms were the worst. Save your time and find someone else. No wonder all the good Dr's that were there are gone.

Dr. Lough is a fantastic doctor who has handled two of my young daughters in their surgeries. One of my daughters did recently wait a very long time to see him (over 6+ months), but once we were able to see him and schedule her surgery, everything went fairly quickly. I recommend him as an EN&T.
