Have visited Dr. Lawrence twice per year since my heart attack in 2005. No unnecessary "small talk" when I visit, just the exchange of important information about my current condition and any changes that need to be made to my medication. I currently reside in Virginia but still make the 4 hour each way journey for my check-ups because I trust his judgement that has kept me alive since 2005.
Curt responses. Brief one or two word answers in regards to test results. Ex: "Bloodwork good." Hospital visit was at most a 5 minute pop-in. This is not an exaggeration. Changed one of my meds while in hospital, and nurse was surprised he never discussed this with me. Saw once in office and he had not reviewed my records prior to my visit. After 10 minutes, said he had another patient and had to get going, and told me how to leave the exam room, to exit. I was left feeling emotional.
