He’s only in it for the money! If a patient is on the verge of passing away, he abandons them cuz they’re no longer able to provide him with the luxurious lifestyle! Each patient and their insurance is a meal ticket to him, once that ticket expires then it’s no longer of any use to Dr Shaw so he throws them away! That’s his philosophy on patient care! It took me a while to officially sign on with a primary care physician. My father has known Dr. Shaw for a long time, so I trust him. My first appointment was two months ago. Our meeting was rather short, but only because I didn’t address many health concerns. I felt very comfortable with him - and for some reason, I immediately imagined him as Dr. Beaman on SNL, making it difficult for me to keep a straight face during the rest of my appointment! Dr. Shaw is skilled and sensible as well as charming and good-looking :)
Dr. Shaw is an amazing diagnostician. He is thorough and takes time to listen to what I have to say and knows exactly what questions to ask to focus in on the problem. He is amazingly thorough and never makes me feel as if I am taking too much of his time. He is caring and sensitive and never condescending. I trust my life to him and have total confidence that he will always do whatever needs to be done to afford me the best and most comprehensive medical care that I need. His staff is just as amazing as he is.
He neglected my mother and my family! As a physician you take an honor to tend to the patient and he didn’t even do that. I would not recommend him or his ghetto unprofessional staff.
A 20 year patient of Dr. Shaw, he has correctly diagnosed and treated all of my health issues. He listens very well, answers all of my questions, and his staff are helpful.

i first came in contact with Dr. Shaw many years ago when he was treating my Mother. he was a very kind & caring person who made her feel very necessary & important. As her copd worsened, he would get her in right away, sit right next to her & let her know that her life mattered & he treated her with such professionalism & kindness. Since then myself, & my 2 sisters have all signed on w/him & have never looked back. i highly recommend him for anyone who is looking for a caring, compassionate
I have been to many doctors in my 65 years and I feel Dr. Shaw is one of the best Primary Care doctors I have had. He really takes time to listen to me and does not stand with his hand on the doorknob. He is thorough and is not afraid to think outside the box. He will listen to what I have to say and not waste time trying things I have previously tried without good results. He does further testing when needed but not unnecessary testing. Have some of your own ideas, talk to him, he will listen.
would never recommend Dr. Shaw or office staff. Over telephone told father he was fine when he indeed was very ill with blood clots. Very uncaring.
