I was seen in the ER for abdominal pain and it was horrific. This Dr. came in to see me and tell me I needed surgery to remove my gallbladder ASAP. Due to me being on blood thinners he was unable to do the surgery at that time but he's office called me the next day and had me scheduled as soon as possible. I had surgery 2 days later was in and out writhing 4 hours and have had no problems since. This man saved my life!!!! Thank You!!!
This Dr. worked to review my insurance claim and deemed it unnecessary to receive infusions after failing a previous medication and my condition still not being controlled by only one immunosuppressant. For someone that has no specialty in my condition or understanding of what medicines work for it, it is incredibly surprising that he feels like he can make a decision on whether this medicine should be received. His priorities are quite clear and they don't seem to align with patient wellbeing.
Dr Maccabee is a wonderful dr he has done a few surgeries and has treated me very well. He has a kind & understanding heart. I am glad I met him & have him as my dr
Love Dr. Maccabee! He saw me through the worst. Bless his heart, he put up with me for a few years. But he did save my life and personally made sure I had the best of the best for my medical care team! I always kept him guessing, he never knew what to expect when I would show up for an appointment. If I found out I needed a surgeon today, I would travel across country to see him. Because I know I would be in the best care I could get.
Having my own experiences I appreciate dr. Macabee with his knowledge and kindness, it really helps when as for me and a doctor are on the same page. Treating my situation better than what I came in as.. so thank you for all that you do and have done to help me be back to life.
