TARNISHING THE UNC NAME. VULGAR and CRUEL. There are some good nurses and doctors and a very kind social worker here, but their good work is being undermined by their ¨hospital police¨ who have openly shown disdain and disrespect to patients and visitors. Go in the ER sick you come out still sick went in for a sinus infection dr.Kennith Tenpenny said I only has a cold fo me to go home take over the counter meds even he know I was all ready taking over the counter meds all he did was made me take a covid test knowing it wasn't that so I had to go to a different doctors office to get real meds to get rid of this sinus infection he refuse to look at my record that shows I have a long history since birth of sinus infection he should be fired and charged with insurance fraud and ... read more

This was the worst experience that I have ever had with a medical office. The P.A. I worked with was supposed to call in some medication to my pharmacy and never followed through. I called the office 3 times and they never called it in or returned my call. I also received a $25.00 bill approximately one year later who knows maybe medicine is at the pharmacy now.

Fell in hospital waiting room for a CT scan. Fell on knees & jaw. Pain & bruising. Admitted to ER FOR ASSESSMENT. X-rays negative. IV Fentanyl with half-life of 3 hours.. Asked Dr. Dean for pain management after discharge. Response, Take Tylenol. Rush Manager vehemently said to see a doctor. Very difficult to do. She said to get on a waiting list! ! ? I was hospitalized for several days due to some broken ribs at the Cannon Hospital in Linville. I made my co-pay and after I was discharged, I requested an itemized bill which I was told I would receive within a few days. A couple of weeks passed and still no bill, so I began calling the hospital as well as the billing office in Boone, NC. Nobody ever returned my calls. Took my girlfriend to the ER. She was incapacitated, so I gave them my debit card to pay her co-pay so she would get treatment. They told me that there was not enough money on the card, so I paid by check. Well, the next day, they had wiped out all of the remaining monies in my bank account through my debit card, in addition to depositing the check.
