My dad sees Dr. Helfrich for his autoimmune disease but his waitlist was 6 months and the booking desk got me in with Dr. Oddis in 3. This was a direct referral from a specialist, I did not self-refer. Dr. Oddis dismissed me, directly questioned the intelligence of my past providers, and refused further MRI imaging to tie-break his disagreement with my referrer (also a very experienced clinician MD!). While I do LOVE Devon Kosir, the office staff needs training on how not to insult people and especially I believe her name is Catherine..(if I have her name wrong I apologize it could be Kathleen) ...HOWEVER....this is not my first interaction with her and she is rude and very "high and mighty" and condescending. I had a recent interaction where she made me feel like I was bothering her and said "you know this office is very busy and I need to get your story straight" REALLY?? Dr Helfrich is a wonderful and caring doctor. I have been going to him for over 4 years. He is extremely knowledgeable and he listens to my questions and concerns. I trust him completely! I am so grateful to have an excellent doctor that I can count on. His office is always on time and the PA’s and staff are very caring and kind.
Very rushed appt. Very dismissive provider (Oddis) who told me chronic pain is something I just have to love with. cut my appt in half and then lied on his documentation stating he did a more in depth exam and stating I denied things I was never asked.
