Great folks to work with on building a house! This is our second build with David James. Only reason we left first house is to downsize! All contractors easy to work with, communicated well, worked hard and did a wonderful job! Time and cost were as discussed beforehand. David is honest, reliable and helped with decisions. We love our house and highly recommend David James and his crew!

We have built several homes but never had a better builder. The quality is impeccable. It's funny how when ever we have another builder walk through our home they notice the small details that were incorporated in our home. The best thing I can say is that we still love our home 8 years later and we still look at David and Sara as our good friends. David is the best builder in Wilmington in my opinion.

Upon a recommendation from a friend who used David James to build his beach house on Fig 8, we hired David to do an extensive addition and significant modification to our existing home. With Brad as lead, the work was seamless, on time and on budget. I have had the pleasure of working with David James and his team on quite a few projects over the years. As an architect, I appreciate their attention to detail, excellent communication and focus on providing quality homes. Two projects in particular were major renovations with challenging structural interventions to the existing homes.
