If I could give no stars, I would. I was given this attorney and told he might would help me pro bono. I was dealing with a child support issue and had my son move in with me, who I was paying for support. Mr. Rutledge was always forgetting the information I gave him, losing documents I would bring in. There were many times he stated I would receive email confirmation and never did in the, over six months of trying to work with him. I believe he may have returned my calls once. Filed for a divorce,paid in full and waited to take care of my cancer treatments,when ready 1 year later He done nothing and his secretary started screening my calls,I politely asked to be refunded and sent a certificate letter stating which because no services had been rendered.Therefore I never received any itemized statement as to where,what,when or why I haven't gotten a court date or my money. No trust at all.worst attorney ever! 9 months no calls guy lies more than truths! Ignored me the plaintiff his CUSTOMER? I put up with bullying , arguments and many missed appointments with me and my doctors! This guy ignored the whole judicial process and ruined our lives! Absolutely the worst experience I’ve ever had with a lawyer!!!! I would never recommend Mr. Rutledge to anyone based on my personal experience. After paying him $1,500 upfront, communication quickly became almost nonexistent. Phone calls went unanswered, messages weren’t returned, and I was left completely in the dark about my case. To my knowledge, nothing has even been filed with the court on my behalf, despite him being retained and paid.
