I’m new to the area. I was having severe pain in my hip area, so I was looking for an orthopedic office to make an appointment. I learned that they have same day walk in appointments, so I went in. I was able to see Dr Dean, who determined I had bursitis and gave me an injection, which seem to have cured it. I will continue to use Orthopedic Associates.
I went in for a follow up on my ongoing knee pain issues. I’ve had cortisone injections once and went in last week with the hopes of getting the again, but I talked to PA Alexis Gates about the gel injections we had spoke about on my previous visit. She said to hold off on the cortisone injections because if we put in the request to my insurance for the gel, It’s very possible it could be denied.
