The doctor dismissed my concerns (without basis) and missed major medical issues for my child. It has been a couple of years now, and other neurologists have diagnosed major concerns- a paragraph of diagnosis. We are receiving 12 hrs a week of therapy for this kid right now... and he told me everything was normal and maybe we could have ADHD. Dr Callahan has a condescending attitude. In my experience this Dr does NOT like to be questioned when a new medication is introduced. In other words if you (as a parent) have strong concerns about a new prescription be prepared for Dr Callahan to take a very rude & unprofessional attitude. Parents should be able to state any concerns with a medicine and expect those questions/ concerns to addressed patiently. Be forewarned he does not do this & can be downright rude! Will be moving on!
