I would give zero stars if I could. Do not use this doctor for bunion or hammer toe surgery. I had my procedure done in November and had to undergo a revision in December to try to correct the issues — but unfortunately, the surgery was a total failure. Since then, I’ve consulted with multiple other doctors who confirmed that the original surgery was unsuccessful. I now have nerve damage, and my second toe is already lifting. Dr. Pedowitz was able to fix my son's lower leg fractures thru surgery and now he is able to climb highline structures, Amazing! Now, I will going thru a total ankle replacement, with a replacement Dr. Pedowitz designed himself. He is Amazing! Thank you.
I had an appointment with Dr. Pedowitz on a bad day. I’ve been there before and had a great experience. This time, not so much. My appointment was at 11:00 am and I didn’t see Dr. Pedowitz for almost TWO HOURS. When I met with him, I felt rushed and I didn’t feel like he took my situation (bunion on right toe) real seriously. He was kind enough to give me a steroid injection in the toe to provide temporary relief and I appreciated that. He didn’t really give me any fooluo instructions. What an honest and caring surgeon. I went back to see Dr Pedowitz with torn ligaments in my ankle. My first visit was February and my ankle was huge and burning for months. Had no idea how it happened. He said surgery was probably needed and come back when my seasonal job was less busy ( my suggestion). Somehow, the ankle stopped burning and went back to normal size. Why? No clue. Saw him last week and he was very surprised and said let’s do physical therapy to strengthen that ankle. I would not perform surgery on this ankle... read more
