I went in for a cleaning and the hygienist Linda says “we’ll do X-rays today since they’re covered by insurance”. After my appt, I get to the check out counter just to be told they no longer accept my insurance and I have to pay out of pocket. It was something like $300. This happened some time ago but I’m still salty over it.. They run insurance before appts and could’ve let me know they were no longer accepting mine so that I could have made my own decision.
I wouldn’t recommend this practice.
I went in for a second opinion....which...was supposed to be at no charge.... I brought in xrays and was told...oh,no! Those wouldn't do and ended up getting wacked for an additional $219... a con job!!! To make matters worse. Dr Peck's,office sent me a lottery ticket so I could feel like,a lover all over again.
