The best and most compassionate doctor on the planet. I had the worst year in 2020 with pain resulting from a vascular malformation in my left hand and fingers and many doctors and specialists did not know what to do or gave up on my case at Stanford and UCSF except Doctor Hovsepian. He was determined to help me and make me feel better, and he did after not giving up. Since then, he has always been by my side when needed and I am forever grateful to him.
Dr. Hovspian did an uterine fibroid embolization on me in 2009. It didn't "cure" me, my fibroids shrank, but did not disappear completely. I am so glad I went with UFE instead of a hysterectomy. Some of my friends have had HORRIBLE side effects from their hysterectomies -- early menopause, prolapsed bladders. After UFE, my life went back to normal. I will be forever grateful for the option Dr. Hovspian gave me.
Dr. Hovespian is the best. My wife has a complicated problem and severe pain in her hand and we have seen over 7 different specialists and 15 doctors. He was the one most willing and determined to help her and find out what is wrong with her. He is a very kind, understanding, compassionate and definitely exceptional doctor and human being. Dr Hovsepian saved my dad's life! My dad (who was 86) had back pain for 2 years after his gallbladder surgery. His family doctor ordered CT and found that he had a large abscess. They had to drain it and found the reason was due to a lost gallstone during the previous surgery. If stone is not removed, then abscess will develop again.
