I was very worried about my first appointment with dr. Gibson because of the reviews here. I'm sorry to hear that people had an experience like that but it is hard for me to reconcile those experiences with my own experience of doctor Gibson's office. I respect a doctor who puts his own ego aside to get the best treatment for his patient. He listened, was understanding, and prompt in referring me to a hospital where he feels my complex medical needs would be better addressed. “They can offer you a lot more than I can here,” were his words. Condescending isn't strong enough. The worst "medical provider" I've seen in Oroville yet. He didn't ask about any meds I'm currently prescribed, tests I've had done, nothing. Don't waste your time. I had already seen a real RA professional, Dr. Brittany Goss RA in Napa. I was hoping to see someone closer to where I live. I will not go back to Oroville. No, I didn't want pain pills. Worst experience I have had since moving here. Dismissive, condescending and highly close minded. I apologize in advance for anyone that accidentally trusted the hospital to hire someone competent.
