My husband called holzer patient advocate an actually talked to the advocate that Gene was reported to in the past. He told her Gene did it again n he wants something done. He told advocate he was tired of it and when he was in the er or hospital they were to inform me just like they were talking to him and they had better put my calls through and allow him to call out. Well folks I just spoke to my husband that made it to Dayton va hospital. He just informed me that it was Gene again being himself rude as usual to the patients family member(wife) calling in to check on her husband. It was Good Ole Mouthy Gene that disrespects the veterans wife and veteran again. This is review 4 about meigs holzer er but 2 about Good Ole Mouthy Gene who is a veteran himself but different branch of service than my husband so he treats him like he has no rights like using the telephone. My husband Clinton Dinguss was diagnosed around 3 years ago with lewy body dementia and I have power of attorney over him. Holzer has a copy on file. He went to the meigs er again and they refused to take him a phone told me he was not their when gallipolis holzer had already confirmed he was. I questioned them telling them I knew he was that gallipolis had already told me. I wish I could give zero stars. My wife came down with appendicitis. I called 4 hospitals to see if the more than usual people waiting (how busy). Holzer wouldn't even tell me. I wouldn't have even called if it weren't such an emergency because I knew so many who have had horrible experiences under their (care). My mother almost died waiting in their er. We drove to st Mary's in Huntington. Never Holzer in Gallipolis again. So many bad reports on them.
