I was referred to Dr Slottje by my pcp to have surgery done on my back to free up a pinched nerve that was causing extreme pain in my left hip. His technical skills as a neurosurgeon are first rate. In addition he is an excellent communicator, taking his time and making sure all questions get answered. I recommend him highly.
I came into MJH on an emergency, and met Dr. Slottje for the first time when he diagnosed a Subdural hematoma that needed to be operated on. Dr Slottje was very good at explaining why I needed surgery. He took a long time explaining the problem to me and my husband, showing no haste nor impatience. From the moment you walk in this office you feel welcomed. The front desk and the nurses are caring and friendly. Dr. Slottje took his time with me and was very thorough, going over everything in detail. This is one of the best doctors I've ever seen!! I really can't say enough about him and the staff. Thank you all for your excellent service.
