In late 2010, my PCP Dr. Schlapper recommended a colonoscopy because I had some blood that may or may not have been hemorrhoids. We erred on the side of caution in spite of my excellent health and clean family history. Dr. Elijah did my colonoscopy and handled the follow-up personally when he suspected that it was cancer. He was right. Turns out I had stage 3b colon cancer, even though I was only 47 with no family history and otherwise very healthy at the time. I have to give 5 stars to Kourtney this morning!!! After booking my husbands appointment weeks ago, and ending up with a Feburary apt, and then calling in for a possible sooner date with no seccess. Kourtney took the time with me this morning after calling in again and letting her know my husbands was having pain now, she took the time and care to find him somthing sooner. Not that anyone did anything wrong, but Kourtney has that special carring personality that makes her excellent at her job. in our eyes. Thank You Kourtney... read more
