I underwent colon surgery and was very nervous going into the procedure, but Dr. Riverdenero was incredibly understanding, kind, and knowledgeable. He made me feel comfortable and at ease from the start, which meant a lot to me. I had laparoscopic rectopexy surgery with Dr. Rivadeneira about 9 weeks ago and am extremely happy with the results. Not only was my prolapse issue fixed but my entire colorectal system is working so much better. The recovery was long and it wasn't easy; it took about 2 months to finally feel better. I still have a distended abdomen but I'm hoping that will resolve itself sometime soon. So, if you are looking for a great tush surgeon, talk to Dr. Riva. He's fantastic.
