Great experience on my first visit. Easy going doctor in Sand Springs. He is easy to talk to and he nailed a diagnosis and treatment for me right away.

He ordered a broad range of x-rays, did a thorough physical exam and wasn't in a rush. It gave me great relief after he patiently explained why my back should not be operated on, due to my other health problems (auto-immune, aorta stint, etc.) First surgeon gave me 10 min appointment and wanted to operate quickly. Grateful my family wanted a second opinion. Thank you Dr. Malone for your wisdom and for giving me all the time I needed to understand.
I have been seeing Dr. Spain since 2005 and has seen me through 17 stent and a quad bypass.
I am 3mos post op and feeling fabulous! No more pain shooting down my leg, no more pain in my lower back. A little stiff, but PT is working that out. I had fusion at L3L4L5, 3 screws with a plate and spacers. Dr Malone was exceptional at explaining my options! His staff (Kate) was so helpful answering additional questions. I beyond thrilled with my results! Thank you Dr Malone, I have my life back again! So glad you were my surgeon!
