I was initially told by Dr. Canes office that I could only see Dr. Canes after first seeing someone else in the practice. After following their instructions and being charged for that appointment, I was then informed I couldn’t see Dr. Canes at all — a complete bait-and-switch. The communication was terrible, the process was misleading from the start, and the whole experience felt like a waste of time and money. If this is how they treat potential patients, I can’t imagine what actual care would look like. Stay away.
After 15 years of battling my BPH, medications stopped working and a permanent catheter routine was in my future. I met with Dr. Canes and discussed Simple Robotic Proctectomy. Dr Canes explanation and accompanying video was the push I needed to get this procedure done. It is now 3 months after surgery and 30 years back in time; urinary stream is great, no more urgency to find a bathroom, and off all prostate meds. Dr.Canes did a great job on my Holep operation along with Dr. Manderville to give me back my life. I wasn’t able to urinate normally for years and these specialists teamed up to do a great job that has made my life awesome again. Dr. Canes is a robotic specialist and does one super job. If you need to have a urologist that can get the job done look no further.
