Last December I had a CT scan for a possible bladder problem. This scan, much to everyone’s surprise, indicated I had a renal cell carcinoma in my left kidney (which had nothing to do with my original issue). My PCP ordered further testing including a PET scan after which she referred me to the Lahey Clinic and an appointment was scheduled with Dr. David Canes. Setting aside the fact that I was there because I had cancer, this was an outstanding experience. The surgery went flawlessly, with no complications, and everything healed perfectly. Almost no scars. And through the whole process, I felt cared for and listened to. Immense gratitude to Dr. Canes and everyone there.
I am so grateful that dr canes took me on as a patient he has helped me alot on understanding my bladder cancer he answered all my questions and is very nice I want to thank him for being willing to take me on as a patient I would recommend him to the highest i give him five stars i look forward to meet with him again thank you dr canes
Dr Canes has been my physician for ten years. During that time he has provided me with excellent care. He has always been very attentive, easy to talk to and genuinely interested in my health.
