Dr. Van Deventer is a very patient, down-to-earth doctor. He saw my husband and I both last year when we had our first colonoscopies (in our 50s). We both connected with him and felt at ease with this not so fun procedure. I highly recommend him.

I have been going to Dr. VanDeventer for many years and he is absolutely the best. He listens, responds & if he doesn't have an immediate answer, he will research and get back to you. Even though no one enjoys a colonoscopy, you can be sure you will get the best, most professional care from Dr. VanDeventer.
Person in front office is unprofessional, rude, and I don't feel comfortable.. She is rude, unhelpful and unfriendly to say the least. Have been there 3 times. Each time she awful to me and other patients. Have no idea how she still has a job. This is all within ear shot of Dr. And other staff. I Will change Dr.s As soon as I can find one. I will try to tell people not to go to him. I work for a Dr. In the area..

Amazing Dr. I wouldn't take my children anywhere else. I'm forever grateful that I found my way to his office. I grew up in the medical field in Santa Barbara, I know a good practice/physician when I see them and I have no problem speaking up and warning people of Dr's they need to steer away from.

the one lady at front desk is rude controlling bitch, interfers with accurate communications to Dr. she thinks she is king and the doctor
She is friendly, professional and quite thorough. I have seen her for years and have tremendous respect for her as my go to Dr.
