I had my first appt. with Dr. Hood's office just over week ago. I was directed to the lady at the far left window as you walk in. She.requested my Humana card and drivers license. I sat down and after a few minutes she called me up and handed me my Humana card. I sat and decided to give her a few minutes and return to her window for my drivers license. I was left feeling disappointed, frustrated & unappreciated! I'm asked to pay ridiculous out of pocket costs before even referencing or contacting my In-Network provider insurance coverage. They refuse to contact Insurance company when I questioned billing explanation. Told me I was not able to receive itemized billing. I feel taken advantage of & their billing a scam. Never again!!!

WOULD LOVE TO HEAR THE RECORDING-I scheduled an appointment last week and had a wonderful on the phone experience. I was referred to this office by my brother who is a local physician. I wrote down the address on my calendar which is only 5 minutes from my office, off of McMullen Booth only to be told that I am scheduled at the Dunedin office which wouldn't make sense but I hurried and drove over there only to be told that I will have to reschedule.
