Dr Brooks had a calming and caring presence toward my 85-year old husband, who was there for a check on a wound that he was afraid was infected. My husband has cognitive issues from a stroke and had accute anxiety about the injury and pain. Dr Brooks and his nurse handled the situation incredibly well. We’re very grateful and NorthMemorial Maple Grove is now our first choice for ER visits.
This was the best experience in an ER I have ever had. Brought in my father with dementia, hernia and bowl issues. Nothing life threatening. It was a dementia episode. Dr Brooks was compassionate and understanding. Patient and kind to our situation. I’m do thankful!
