When my son considered switching from the Suzuki to the Mark O'Connor method many years ago, Dave was kind enough to share his views on the subject. Now Josh is principal violist in the High School Orchestra at Denver School of the Arts. I won't give Dave credit for all of that progress, but he could have ignored my request for his opinion and he didn't. He is a Mensch.
David was extraordinarily kind and supportive when my daughter was a young fiddler/violinist. He sourced fabulous bows for her from his supplies, enabling her to perform brilliantly as a professional, and to win a full scholarship to Blair School of Music at Vanderbilt University. His expertise, skill and honesty are top-notch, prime time! David’s got a lifetime friend right here.
