At first we felt this was going to be a very positive. My husband fell and broke his elbow on Tuesday. We saw a Mercy Urgent care with X-Rays. He also had X-rays on his wrist they said it was just sprained at the urgent care. They referred us to Dr. Parker. We get in same day (Positive). We get in and they take just a glance at the X-Ray and say the wrist is fine but the elbow is fractured in the back. It’s an easy procedure he does 4 a week he says. Doesn’t listen. In too much of a hurry to do procedure and walk out. Couldn’t or wouldn’t answer basic question of muscle and knee pain. Disappointed in todays providers and how dismissive they are to patients questions. That is how mistakes happen. Patients are not a check box on a to do list.
I needed a new Ortho Dr. my primary care recommended Dr David Parker with Mercy OKC. Today was my appointment. I believe Matt was His medical assistant. Very like able, great!! Dr Parker was equally as nice. Very thorough. Showed me my MRI results and how badly I had caused a tear in my main rotor cup muscle. I have no doubt he’s a very Confident surgeon . .
