It was my second colonoscopy and both ran exactly the same. Everyone was professional, courteous and understanding at every step of the process. The only difference was that they switched to propofol which made the recovery 100% easier.

Minutes before my colonoscopy Doc said sorry that they "had a problem" with the propofol drug (apparently the anesthesiologist decided to leave early? ) So I've preped for 2 1/2 days, laying on the table an hour with the iv in and ready, anxiety through the roof and this?? So everyones worst fear of being awake came true, it was horrible, how can a doctors office be so inept? The only reason I did this was the assurance that I would be completely "out" as I knew there would be pain.

This review is for the office. After arriving 30 minutes early for a colonoscopy I then laid on the table in a freezing room for over an hour. Minutes before my procedure the doctor came in, I asked about propofol as I had major reservations about the procedure and had been assured by the NP that I'd be totally "out".Doc said sorry but there was a "problem"with that and I'd be sedated but awake, how INEPT of an office can there be?Anesthesiologist decided to leave early is what I found out,UNREAL

Wow, I have never worked with such an incompetent & rude staff of people. I have been trying obtain medical records for over a month & they don't seem to be able to handle this request. I have had to follow up over 6 times, provide additional fax number options & asked that they call the other doctor's office to confirm that they received the fax. The woman who handles the phone was of incredibly rude & insulting. I really suggest that Dr. Stanton's office take some time to find some replacement
