Dr. David Wyatt Successfully removed my left lung due to a large attached vascular Fibroid tumor . The care and concern I received for months before my surgery until surgery and after was/is phenomenal, very professional and through. There were no stones left unturned by him, Lesley Loving or anyone in that office. I received great care from Carillion RMHOSPITAL ICU. I’m grateful and thankful to each one.

Dr. Wyatt performed triple bypass surgery on me three years ago. I was able to come home on Christmas day. He is a skilled surgeon that gave me my life back. I love the outdoors and after about 2 months of recovery, I am back to everything I enjoy on our small farm. I'm back to snow skiing, gardening, exercising and water sports. I am 71 years old and each day of my life is a blessing thanks to the cardiac team at Roanoke Memorial.
In 1998 at Cookeville regional medical center in Tennessee, Dr David Wyatt started our open heart program. As a respiratory therapist who was present for the beginning of his services at our facility, I want to say a great big thank you to Dr Wyatt. After watching many patients having to be transported more than a hundred miles away for open heart surgery, he put an end to it. I will never see him again. Seemed very uncaring and made me feel like I was more of a bother. I had to ask questions to drag information out of him about my issues. Even then his answers were short and matter of fact. I have several opacities throughout my lungs and he can’t be bothered to do a biopsy. Told me to come back in a year. Yeah, right, so he can send me home with stage 4 lung cancer.
Dr Wyatt is very thorough in explaining the procedure he is a very caring dr. He is straight up and answers all questions. My daughter said he wears nice shoes lol
