Very unempathetic doctor. He gave me no information on what was wrong with my back, just that he couldn't "hang his hat on any one thing". I only know of the arthritis, degenerative disc disease, compressed discs, bulging discs and bone spurs from reading my results on MyChart. He offered no solutions and had absolutely terribe bedside manner. I felt like I was more of an annoyance to him rather than a patient. I had a fantastic experience with Dr. Scott. If you are looking for a physician who is concise, informative, and to the point, he is excellent. He took the time to explain my imaging clearly and was very thorough in his clinical assessment. He focused on actionable solutions, addressed my pain effectively, and was professional throughout the entire visit. I appreciated his direct approach and would definitely recommend him to anyone who values clear, efficient, and expert medical care.

Posting this review for my wife. The nurse had a smart attitude the whole visit. Dr. Scott spent about 5 minutes with her and didn't want to listen to her medical history. Which was very relevant to whats going on. Several smart comments later from Dr.Scott and nurse. She left in tears. Without any answers. 3 doctors later and no answers not even an idea of whats going on. Other than her leg hurts. She truly felt like a number. And wouldn't refer a guinea pig to this practice. Respect is not a given it is earned.

Today was my first visit with Dr. Scott. He was professional, pleasant, asked questions and listened to my concerns. I would recommend him based on my experience today.

I got a call from Dr Scotts receptionist today to say they're canceling my new patient appointment Monday because I was seen previously at VCU and they think VCU can help me more. I told them I havent seen VCU for ortho stuff in 2+ years, wasnt happy with the care I had then, dont want to see or talk to VCU again, and that my Riverside primary Dr referred me to them. The receptionist was talking over me and still said they wouldn't see me and to have VCU or my primary care Dr refer me to another ortho office. I insisted that... read more
