Wonderful I have been going to Maplewood since I moved to B'ham 6 yrs ago. They are wonderful! When 1 of my 2 cats got cancer, Dr. Rabkin was EXTREMELY caring and compassionate. He gave us time with him in the room alone before he put him to sleep and left us all alone once he gave him the injection as well. They sent a sympathy card and send a Christmas card every year. All of the animals and owners they treat are like family to them. We LOVE the care there!
You'll never find a better vet! We lived in Bellingham for 7 years and switched to Maplewood after first taking our two kitties to a specialty cat clinic that was over priced and a bit dirty. We stayed with Dr. Rabkin for the remainder of our time there. In that time, we adopted a new kitten; Dr. Rabkin provided all follow up care and shots. Dr. Monroe Rocks! I just love this place. Dr. Monroe is great with my dog, Otis. She always gives him a treat after taking his temperature. Now, when ever my dog see a thermometer he gets very excited and happy!
Most Compassionate Vet EVER! I agree with the last posting, Bellingham is truly lucky to have Dr. Rabkin. He is the most compassionate man I have ever met. The care and empathy he has shown towards my pets, friend's pets, and my family has been amazing. This man has a fantastic connection with animals, as well as an extensive medical knowledge and sense of humor.
