Dr Petruska performed C4 - C7 fusion on me in 2006. Two months after the surgery the plate and stabilizer he implanted had twisted and screws pulled loose of the spine. Since then I have suffered from chronic pain. Currently the flawed procedure has resulted in the plate pushing against my esophagus and larynx causing loss in voice and great difficulty in swallowing.
