Dr. Herf told my husband he needed immediate, emergency gallbladder removal surgery. When they opened him up, he didn’t even have a gallbladder!!! We paid thousands of dollars for an unnecessary surgery. Equally upsetting was the doctor’s receptionist (wife?) telling us the doctor deserves to be paid for his time. They had zero compassion or mercy for putting us through the stress of an unneeded procedure – which occurred two days before my husband’s 50th birthday party/vacation. Pre surgery appointments were thorough and informative. He was sure to rule out any other issues before doing surgery. Surgery and post-op appointment went well. Very polite and professional staff. Thankful to have an experienced surgeon locally.
